Crown Heights Apartments, LLC. (aka CHA) is a sister project to David Chavis Apts. This senior residence facility is built at 1055 St. John’s Place, adjacent to David Chavis Apartment building, between Kingston and Brooklyn Avenues. CHA consists of 142 one bedroom apartments for low income elderly individuals and a two-bedroom superintendent’s apartment. Eligible seniors, 62 and over, pay no more than thirty percent of their income for rent.
